MEET DIOPTER
Diopter is the independent rock project of Mike Morabito, a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Charleston, South Carolina. Drawing from ’90s alternative rock, Americana, and roots music, Diopter blends guitar-driven arrangements with melody, atmosphere, and personal songwriting.
After years away from music while building a career in optometry, Morabito returned to recording with a renewed focus on writing songs that feel honest, lasting, and true to the records that shaped him. Diopter is the result of that second act.
